One-of-a-kind side-tie dress, lovingly upcycled in Byron Bay from a vintage cotton towel in mint — an open-sided, apron-style cover-up made to throw on over swimwear or wear as a breezy summer piece.
This piece features a delicate crochet lace inset at the front, a cotton knit back for lightness and ease, and adjustable side ties in cotton binding so you can find your perfect fit. Lightweight and packable — made to travel.
Each dress is crafted from a single vintage towel, so every piece is unlike any other. Natural variations, soft marks and signs of age are part of the charm and history of the original textile.
ONE SIZE — photographed on an Australian size 8 mannequin. This open-sided style adapts to the wearer and best suits an approx. AU 6–14.

o.r.a.n.a. is a one-woman zero waste studio making limited-run pieces from reclaimed towelling and woven fabrics — these are not stretch fabrics.
Most pieces are made from vintage towels, which means i am limited by the width of the fabric. I have gone to great lengths to make our reclaimed track pants as generous as possible — but please, always size up and always check measurements.
Measure the widest point of your hips and compare directly to the garment measurements listed on each product page. When in doubt, check against something similar in your wardrobe.

Pants and shorts are step-sized — XS/S (AU 6-8), S/M (AU 8-10) and M/L (AU 12-14).
