Welcome to my first blog post and my new shop! While I can design and produce collections with my eyes closed, building a website from scratch, managing social media, marketing, and shooting all content are relatively new endeavors for me. My initial store setup was a bit messy, so I went back and completely redid everything, learning so much along the way.

The Truth About Sizing

Did you know that in the high-end fashion world, a significant amount of time is dedicated to fittings? Pattern cutting is a highly skilled craft, and up until about 20 years ago, most fabrics didn't have much stretch.

The Fast Fashion Problem

While an industry-standard size chart exists, the rise of fast fashion and poor quality control has led to inconsistent sizing. However, I am committed to sticking to the standard! My goal is to give you the confidence to purchase, ensuring you won't be heartbroken if an item doesn't fit.

Why Natural Fibres Matter

Before we started mixing chemicals and crude oil to create stretchy fabric (yes, your buttery-soft leggings are petroleum-based!), most materials didn't stretch at all. This made—and still makes—fitting the entire size spectrum impossible with natural fiber woven materials.

Finding Your Perfect Fit

The best way to find your true size is to measure yourself! (A tutorial will be coming soon). The most crucial measurement is your hip—at its widest part—because the shorts need to pull up over that area.
